All about E-Rupi
e-RUPI - what does it mean?
E-RUPI is a digital solution developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in collaboration with the Department of Financial Services (DFS), National Health Authority (NHA), and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
Merchants accepting e-RUPI will be able to redeem vouchers without a card, digital payments app, or internet banking access. Organizations or the government would share e-RUPI with beneficiaries for a particular purpose or activity.
As it keeps the beneficiaries' details completely confidential, this contactless e-RUPI is easy, safe, and secure. Because the required amount is already stored in the voucher, the entire transaction process is relatively faster, and at the same time, reliable.
